Schiller International University transforms students while preparing them to develop into global citizens of the world who can meet the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

Schiller International University is welling to help students to integrate global and French market. Therefor, SIU decided to put in place this training expedition in cooperation with SIS UP to allow students to understand French culture and job market in an international context, and help them with the job searching tools (CV, interviews and motivation letters).

This project is established upon a request from Rafe Jabari, the Deputy Director, the Director of the student and career services Department at Paris Campus, in order to help students with their professional project during studies and after graduation.

Last year, SIS UP accompanied a group of 10 SIU students in a 4-month program designed to develop their knowledge and discernment on the different societal issues in France in relation to their own experience in their different countries. This experience has been successful.

Today, SIS UP would like to better understand the students' profiles and expectations regarding their professional engagement in order to provide tailor- made elements and trainings to help the students better know themselves, the French culture and face an international job market.

All students from the Paris campus are invited to participate in this program, which will fully be in English. Participants are required to send their CV to lea.hardouin@sisup.fr and rafe.jabari@schiller.edu, and complete this preliminary questionnaire.

LEARNING EXPEDITION | PROGRAM

2- Monthly meetings (3h session), from June to December :

Discover the French market for international profiles | Visit to a company - a NGO | Conferences with CEO, HR Director, Coach and SIS UP experts | Group work on a sector of interest in France | Job tools : CV, cover letter and interviews trainings

3- Final event to celebrate the end of the training expedition, with a certificate of completion to be handed to all participants.
